The Best Week of Summer was June 19-23 when 24 children attended Vacation Bible School at Bethesda. The Maker Factory theme suggested we are created by God and built for a purpose. They experienced great music , a skit, four different learning stations, and awesome snacks from 9:00 – 11:30 am each day. Wednesday evening many of the students performed their Vacation Bible Schools songs and dance at the Malmo Lions event in Malmo. On Friday each child packed a Christmas Box for Operation Christmas Child. These boxes will be sent to children who usually do not get Christmas gifts next November.
A special thanks to the 20 adults and teens who came to help us everyday and also thanks to another 10 volunteers who helped with the set and other jobs .
