INTRODUCTION
The story of the healing of Naaman the Aramean (an enemy of Israel) by Elisha (the prophet of Israel) is a story of border-crossings, whereby the Lord works in mysterious ways. God was showing Naaman that his healing would only come about as a result in his faith in God who could do what humans can’t.
” 9So Naaman came with his horses and chariots, and halted at the entrance of Elisha’s house. 10Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go, wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored and you shall be clean.”
