Pentecost is sometimes called the church’s birthday, but might more appropriately be called its baptism day, since the gift of the Spirit is the fullness of baptism.
When the day of Pentecost had come, [the apostles] were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.
ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
GROUP PHOTO – We will be taking a group photo of our congregation on Sunday, June 17th, 2018 for our new picture directories that will be out by the end of the year. The picture will be taken outside, in between services. Please be sure to show up!
NEW MEMBERS We will be receiving new members on a quarterly basis. Our first New Member service will be on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at our outdoor service. If you are interested in membership or associate membership, please talk to Pastor James Muske.
MEMORIAL DAY GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held on Sunday, May 27th at 2:00pm at Malmo Cemetery and 3:00pm at Lakeside Cemetery.
